Hi Folks, New to the site....wanted to post an upcoming event/ride on July 29th originating from both the Conyers and Griffin areas. The 5th annual Bill Grace Memorial Teddy Bear ride is scheduled from Walmart in Conyers of Hwy138 and I-20 as well from Griffin and GTO's club (North Expressway). Both rides registration starts @ 08:30 and Kickstands up @ 09:45. Both rides will converge in Monticello, Ga. for a break @ Boondocks Bar & Grill then proceed to Conyers VFW post 5290 for Lunch, Door Prizes, and 50/50. Lunch is included with the ride and donations are accepted to defray lunch costs.
The ride Cost is only cash donations...whatever you might spend on one bear in a toy store we can buy 6 to 8 Teddy Bears that will be donated to Police, Sheriff, Fire and Paramedic Personnell to give kids that are involved in a traumatic situation. ALL proceeds go to kids and it's a wonderful event
The ride is sponsored by Dixie Star Riders and Red Knights MC Chap. 11.
There will be ride t-Shirts available for $10 and all checks are made payable to "Dixie Star Riders".
