The 5th Annual Bill Grace Memorial Teddy Bear Ride will be on Sat. July 29, 2006. Sponsored by Dixie Star Riders and Red Knights MC Chap.11.Registration begins @ 08:30 and Kickstands up at 09:45.
There are two ride gathering locations...
Conyers, Ga. / "Walmart" (off Hwy 138 and I-20).
Griffin, Ga. / "GTO's Bar and Grill" (Off North Expressway).
Both rides will converge/meet for a break in Monticello, Ga at "Boondocks Bar & Grill", then proceed to Conyers to VFW Post #5290 for Lunch, Door Prizes & 50/50.
Lunch is included with the ride but there will be a donation bucket to help offset costs.Ride Costs are cash or check DONATIONS...Whatever you might spend on a Toy Store Bear can buy between 6to 8 Teddy Bears "wholesale"....and all money goes to buy Teddy Bears that will be given to Police, Fire, Sherriffs, and Paramedic Personnell to give to kids who are involved in traumatic situations. It really works.
Ride T-Shirts will be available for $10.
