I have a Yamaha VStar 1100 with attached speakers on the handlebars. I would like to get new speakers (as the ones on there are gettin old). Does anyone have any suggestions for top quality handlebar speakers that can be heard at highway speeds? Thanks.

Sorry, I can't help with a recommendation. Most of the riders I know that like to listen to music while they ride use an iPod with ear buds.

+1 on the ear buds. The sound is much better.

Ipod/MP3 player all the way. One you don't disturb other car riders making bikers look even worse. Two you should have a full face on anyways.

I recently purchased a set of these ran them by my buddies house and he liked them so much he ordered a set as well. Comes with all cables connections and a 100watt amp as well. Tell him Geno sent you.

I think you must buy the Yamaha Speakers. They are of good quality and sounds better.

There is different variety of speakers available in the market as per your requirement. You need to make the best suitable selection based on your choice, budget and demands.

I dont know much about the bar mounted speakers..but I had hog tunes W/amp in my street glide.. thay diid pretty good...but I just got back from daytona & bought the J&M rokker set up with the 250 watt amp .. now these really rock...
