Hey guys, noob to the board here... :)

Just moved here last month from Charleston (long story), and of course it's winter and I'm too much of a wuss to go enjoy the twisties in the frigidness! Ride a 2006 V-Star 650 Classic, first bike, love it! Been riding for a little over a year, so I'm by no means the fastest, but I figure that way I can see more, right? hehe....I'm sure I'm not the only chica in here, and if any others are interested in joining the GA chapter of Chic Riders, let me know! All female motorcycle club, WOOT! Ok, I'm done...for now... :moto:

Later! :D

Welcome aboard!

:welcome:

Thanks for sharing information on your riding club. Do you have a place that you meet locally? Do you sponsor events that the guys can attend too?

I've only lived here for 3 years, but I love it. I took my MSF course last weekend, sooooo I'm really new at the whole bike thing, but I think I'm gonna love it.

I'm looking at buying a Kawasaki Ninja 500 in a month or so. I travel a lot on my job and won't be back in town until mid-March. I would love to hear about your MC.

If you have any words of wisdom let me know!

We're really just starting out here in GA, but there are things that we are looking forward to doing. It's an all-female club, but that does not mean that we're "manhaters"....lol....yes, there will be events/rides/whatever that we will do that everybody can attend. It's just like any other MC-but it's just for the ladies. ;)

Mareliza, congrats on the MSF! I took that myself about a year and a half ago-and bought my bike the weekend after. :D A couple other girls around here have 500s as well. If you like, check out the myspace page at www.myspace.dom/chicridersgeorgia, or the actual site at www.chicriders.com. There are forums there as well, which you are more than welcome to join! :moto:
