I have noticed more and more that while riding and passing other bikers, that many, not all, but a lot of the HD guys will not wave to anyone on a "jap" bike, let alone a sportbike. Why is this? I've owned HD's, a Titan, and a bunch of "jap" bikes. Whats the issue here? I always wave to my fellow riders. I dont care if you're on a moped..its two wheels. It just make me irritated at the whole HD lifestyle. If I wanted an HD this time, I would have bought it, but I wanted something different. I ride a Bandit, which in itself is rare for here. No full fairings for me, this time. I just enjoy the ride.
Be polite, wave to your fellow bikers. You never know who may be carrying the loctite for ya :moto:

I myself ride a Harley and wave to all that ride regardless of their preference in bikes.

I ride a cruiser and most people wave but some don't. I was thinking that sportbikes were snubbing me but after I started paying closer attention, it seems to be pretty random. Some people get distracted by other things and some people just don't give a hoot about being friendly.

Thanks guys, at least I know two waves I'll get. But, as for the random stuff, the sportbike guys always wave. Never snubbed by them, just the cruisers.

If you are on a sport bike, I'm sure they do wave. If you were on a cruiser, many might not. I think its pretty random. I've pretty much stopped waving at all. Too many damned scooters in the hood and WILL NOT wave at a scooter!:firedevil: :D

Sometimes I do...Sometimes I dont...I let my wife wave most of the time..Im withh Willy...Ive pretty much quit waving

All these waves are making me sea sick.
