I have seen some old posts on here complaining about the lack of waving by some riders. This is only my opinion on it.
When I'm riding in the mountains or on some curvy roads I tend to focus on the roadway. Some of these areas bring a lot of fellow riders. I can't be waving to every rider that comes by me. Sometimes I am shifting, braking or watching the road. Plus, it gets a little annoying to wave at the 20 or more riders that I see.
It's cool when I am on some lone deserted road and I run into a fellow rider but not at a local attraction place. I see some riders waving at me across a divided Hwy, 6 lanes away from me and across a grassy median. Come on. Use some common sense when waving and you won't get disappointed.
