Here is an update on the tickets that we had for the advanced showing of Wild Hogs:

The original email (the second try) that was sent to all our members:
We have been given 50 tickets (each one is good for two people) for an advanced showing of "Wild Hogs" starring John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen and William H. Macy. This showing will be at the AMC Discover Mills on Thursday February 22nd at 7:30pm.

These tickets are limited and are first come, first served so be sure to email us for a ticket only if you can attend. We will then send you a confirmation that you have a ticket. You can pick it up from us on the day of the show. BE THERE EARLY because we aren't the only ones with tickets to this showing and they tend to overbook some.

If there is enough interest, we have access to additional tickets for the same night in the Regal Atlantic Station at 7pm. But we have to fill the seats at Discover Mills first.

Who says membership doesn't have it's priviledges?

Thanks again for being a Metro Atlanta Bikers member!The tickets went FAST, all of them were gone in the first 10 hours after the mailing went out. HOWEVER, we have had several cancellations and we are trying to get more tickets for other showings.

As metioned, the tickets are first come, first served and we are wading through the emails to give the tickets out fairly.

If you received an email stating that we are holding a ticket for you, you have a ticket and can pick it up from us the day of the showing outside of the theater doors (we will have Metro Atlanta Bikers shirts on).

If you HAVEN'T received an email from us stating that we are holding a ticket for you, you don't have a ticket but you may still be able to get one. Cancellations are still coming in (as well as requests) and we are trying to get more seats at other showings.

If we are holding a ticket for you but you can't make it, please let us know. Others want to go!

I asked for one pair of tickets (2 seats) but the person that was comming with me can't now, so all I need is one seat, if someone has a pair that's not using both seats, let me know, I need to know I have a seat before I come because I live north-east, about 1 1/2 hour ride to get there, so untill I'm sure I have a ticket/seat, I won't make the trip, also, I can only make it to the Dicovery Mills showing, no biggie if I can't get a seat, I will see/meet all of you another time this summer out on the road :moto: :thumb: Holyknees

Just a note about the theater/movie:

This movie will be like any other movie. Seating is first come, first served. And although we would never give out more tickets than we have received, the promoter might over book the theater (they assume some tickets are only going to used by one person instead of two). In other words, the seats are not reserved and you should arrive early to insure you get a seat.

The show begins at 7:30pm but we will be there at about 6pm. They won't begin seating until 30-45 minutes before the show but there may be a line.

We are not trying to scare anyone away but at the same time we don't want some pimple faced kid that giggles everytime someone says that they ride a soft tail to get your seat!!!

Sorry to be putting everyone off for so long but we were waiting to see if we could get more tickets... and we did!

We don't really have much of a choice over the theaters but for those people who were wanting something further south, we have 50 tickets (1 ticket = 2 seats) for the advance showing of Wild Hogs at the Regal Hollywood 24 in Chamblee on Monday 2/26 @ 7:30pm.

So if you want tickets to this event, please send us an email to request them (and let us know your name and how many tickets you need - 1 ticket = 2 seats). They are first come, first served.

If you have tickets for Discover Mills but would prefer Chamblee, please let us know immediately!

We went to the AMC Discover Mills to check it out and the theater is inside the mall so we will be handing out the tickets inside (we will be wearing Metro Atlanta Bikers shirts). We have your tickets, not the theater.

The theater is on the opposite corner from the Bass Pro Shop at entry 4. There is a parking garage near the entrance. Motorcycle parking is available up front but only a few spots.

The theater that the movie is playing in will hold roughly 300 people. The key to getting a seat is to arrive EARLY. There may be a line and if we can, we will direct you to it.

We asked about discounts for concessions for our members but they weren't up for it. It's hard to talk serious to someone when all you can think about is whether the person is still in high school or not ;-)

Thanks to all involved with the free showing of the Wild Hogs. :thumb: We really enjoy the movie.

The $2 off coupons were a nice bonus. For anyone riding to the Motorcycle Show, this is a message that was passed around here at work.

Those that plan on riding, parking is free in the North Green lot, and for Motorcylces only. Also. You will be able to check your gear(helmets, jackets, ect) at an booth located near ticketing office.
