Reavis Chancellor, 84, US Army Veteran of World War II, has passed away recently. Mr. Chancellor was a Corporal in the Army Air Corps and spent several months on Guam. He was awarded the American Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Medal; Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal.

A memorial service for Mr. Chancellor will be held at Stuhr's North Charleston Chapel on Thursday, February 22. Visitation will begin at 4pm with the service itself beginning at 7pm. Patriot Guard Rider presence has been requested. Please meet in the chapel parking lot (2119 Dorchester Road, near the Navy Hospital) by 3:45 p.m. to stand for this patriot. An hour, two hours, or four hours...any time you can stand in respect for this American will comfort his grieving family.

Temperatures will be moderate to start but becoming chilly as the sun sets.

Please bring your mission flag if you have one.

The funeral is scheduled for Saturday, February 24, at 1:00 p.m. at Juliette United Methodist Church on McCracken Street in Juliette, Georgia. Details on that portion of the mission will be forthcoming.
