I saw this the other day in a copy of US Rider News...

If you have your tag mounted vertically on your bike instead of normally (horizontal) and you visit Florida, you can get a hefty ticket!!!

316.2085 Riding on motorcycles or mopeds:
(3) The license tag of a motorcycle or moped must be permanently affixed horizontally to the ground and may not be adjusted or capable of being flipped up.

1st offense - $1,000 fine

2nd offense - $2,500 fine, license revoked for 1 year

3rd offense - $5,000 fine, license revoked for 10 years

Also, there are no exceptions for out of state vehicles.

SO if you visit Florida, be careful.

An idea. We should all temporarily places like Atlantic Station in Atlanta,
Myrtle Beach SC, and ALL of Florida. Also we should let the bums know we are doing this. I hope all those bike haters drown in this bad economy. If anyone deserves it, its those worthless, thieving politicians. They are all our friends when they want us to support their charities, etc., but show their trur colors all the other times. I'm tired of being their cash cow. Bikers unite, and spend your money where you are appreciated, not hated by THE MAN!
