Just a suggestion. I am a lurker at some other motorcycle forums and they allow for three images per profile and those images are larger in size than allowed on this site.

I think people would respond to posting their own pictures and would help build a "community".

What do you think?

How much larger would you like the images to be (in pixels and bytes)? Currently profile images are limited to 100x100 pixels and 64Kb. Whereas avatars are limited to 80x80 pixels and 20,000 bytes.

Point me to a site that has what you are looking for and I will see what I can do about more profile pictures.

Being an Intruder owner, I frequen the Intruder Alert site. (AKA BoulevardOwners) at http://www.boulevardowners.com/cafe/index.cfm

Here's the text from their site about images:
"If necessary, use a photo editing program to reduce the size of your file to be less than 100k bytes; the server will not accept anything larger. GIF, JPG or PNG formats only."

I think a size limit is pretty reasonable. A large image, but doesn't eat up HD space. I think they limit the number as well. I don't remember anyone having more than 3 images.

I have increased to size of the profile image from 100x100 pixels to 180x180 pixels (I have to be careful that the image doesn't take over the frame). So, try reloading your profile image.

I also added the camera icon which takes the user to your images in the photo gallery. This appears in all of your posts. A similiar link appears in your profile in the forum section. The images you add to the photo gallery can have the same specifications that you mentioned previously.

I will check into adding additional profile images.

I also added "Random Thumbs" to the profile page which will display up to five, randomly selected thumbnails from the images you have posted in the photo Gallery (if you have any). Clicking on one of them will take you to the image.

My bad. The previous post was a little misleading. :o

You see the randon thumbnails when you view someone's profile (ie. click on their name in a post, the member list, etc.). There is nothing to configure since it only pulls random thumbnail images from the uploaded gallery images of that user (people only see thumbnails from the images you have uploaded). If you want more thumbnails, upload more images (but a maximum of five thumbnails will be displayed at one time).
