As you may have noticed, we are adding advertising to the web page. We have to upgrade the server and this is the only way to do it. The majority of the ads will be Google ads (these are ads with blocks of text or an image that pays us a small amount everytime someone clicks on one of them) but we are also adding paid advertisements for local stores.

Most people don't like to see a bunch of ads on a web page, so we will try to keep it to a minimum. As a member of Metro Atlanta Bikers, you already aren't seeing some of the ads. And as a reward for contributing to the web page, we are going to set it up so that after you have created 10 posts, you won't see the Google ads any more.:thumb: However, the paid ads for the local stores will continue to be displayed.

Several people have asked "How do I get 10 posts?". Easy. Here are some ideas...


Introduce yourself to everyone. Tell them what, where and when you like to ride
Tell everyone about the last ride you went on. Where you went and what you saw
Talk about your bike. What motorcyclist doesn't have something to say about what they ride?
What about that trip you want to take but haven't had the time yet?
Welcome someone when they join
